My Off-Duty Uniform

As I have mentioned my kids are off for Easter break and its definitely casual days as far as dress is concerned. Today has been a trip to Meadowhall a shopping centre in Sheffield for lunch and  toy shopping. Everytime I turned to sneak into a clothes shop all three kids shouted “NO” in unison. It was torture!

I have worn this vest top and jacket in a previous post Stripes, Leopard and “bob” when I had just had my hair cut, but I wore them with Topshop Baxter jeans and leopard print skaters. I know that today is only a slight change with my ripped black skinnies and black skaters but when I am doing an outfit post everyday there are going to be some similarities. I also love this look for a casual day and it is almost certainly my off- duty uniform at the moment. What is your off-duty uniform?

I am managing my way around my new blog now but I am really shocked about the amount of spam comments. Is this a wordpress thing? If so is there anything I can do?

If anyone who puts these spam comments on actually reads the blog, I do not want to advertise weight loss pills, Heamorrhoid treatments or cat litter. Some people have far to much time on their hands!

I hope you are liking my new blog layout and thank you for leaving your comments, I love reading them all and it really makes you feel you are not just blogging into outer space, so thanks for that.

Tomorrow I am hopefully escaping out on my own for a little wander around the shops and leaving Mr HOL in charge, I am on the hunt for a nice pair of statement flats and also a over-sized white shirt…..this means I will be coming home with something completely different, so pop by tomorrow  and see.

Take care

Amanda x

  1. Look the new look blog Amanda, very professional looking. I don’t know about wordpress but on blogger you can turn anonymous comments off which most of the spam is. Loving your look, I really need to get myself a pair of those shoes before all the good ones are gone!

  2. I went to the opening of the new John Lewis in York today and somehow managed to be in charge of the boys whilst my hubs had a good nosey. He did buy me the latest copy of Vogue for my troubles though.

And your blog looks lovely – clean and simple – all the better for showing off your pics. Don’t worry about the spam – we all get it though I’m not sure if it’s more rife on wordpress or not as I am on blogger.

Lovely outfit today – but will be looking forward to seeing what you find for some statement flats – I tried today and failed miserably.

I love your’ blog format. It is nice a clear. I have had some weird comments, few and far between thank goodness, but I just deleted them quick sharpish. I am not sure if it is a wordpress thing as I am on blogger. I love your off duty uniform. I loved those leopard skater shoes but I went for the Ash ones which are spending an awful lot of time on my feet. I usually bung on some jeans and an easy gap sweater with my black mac which I have fallen in love with again. H xx

  4. The biker jacket paired with a breton top and skater shoes are a gorgeous match!
